I think so, Lynn. She has been evolving a plan and I think she wants me to help her test it for viability. But she has been so out of pocket the last few weeks, it is tough to even get a 'hiya' from her. Sticking tongue out

I miss her. I sent her an email yesterday. I had been out of touch with her for months now, while I was sick.

I am much better in the last few weeks. I was diagnosed with diabetes. I've had it for at least 2 years without knowing. Just getting very sick and weak.
I haven't felt this good in years. Even losing weight now that I eat many small meals a day instead of maybe only 2 meals.

Now I will be able to get out and plant many agastache and salvias. Hurray!

Do any of you root cuttings of your Agastache? I did last year and had some success. My Agastache 'Acapulco' are still green now outside. I might try some more cuttings. I think this time I won't use a humidity covering.

Lynn, I am happy to hear you are doing better. I didn't know about that either. Take good care of yourself. ♥♥♥

I hope we hear from Marilyn soon. She was so anxious to get this forum going.

Clint, that is one thing I was going to do last year (rooting some Agastaches) but had an illness that wiped out my plans for the year. Sounds like it was the year for things like that. Angry So it's in my plans for this year. Which ones did you root?

My A. Honey Bee Blue was given to me as small rooted cuttings. They looked half dead when they arrived but have done very well. I think I lost a couple of them but two or three established well. These photos were taken in September

I garden for the pollinators.

Thats lovely .Is it a short one?
I didnt know they could be started from root cuttings. My ApricotSprite and Apache Sunset re seed so well. Alas the wee plants dont transplant well for me but Its probably my fault.

If Raspberry Summer goes to 4 feet I will have to move it.Keep my fingers crossed it doesnt die.

This one is about 24 inches tall in bloom and I think they grow to about 36 inches. The shortest one I have is 'Pink Pop'. What about you?

My shortest is Apricot Sprite.
The rest are 3-4 feet and in the middle or back of the plot. Raspberry is at the border because I had to transplant from a tub and did a hasty job.

Hi all! I wasn't feeling well yesterday. So happy we have our forum! Hurray!

Didn't know you were sick Lynn. Happy you're feeling better! Thumbs up

I lost some Agastaches (newly planted ones) the last two years because of the dry hot heat we've had. You'd think I would've move up to a higher zone instead of 6a! Hilarious!

I 'finally' found the secret to 'Ava'! When I bought 3 more from HCG in 2010, I carefully read the catalog for Ava and memorized it and it stated that add some compost to the planting hole. I thought it stated it on the website too, but I just looked and it doesn't. Anyway, they're still alive!

That year, I also bought from them 3 'Blue Blazes', 3 'Summer Love' and 3 'Coronado Red'. I wanted to make sure they didn't dry out and tried to keep them watered, but it appears that I lost 2 of the 'Coronado Red'.

I love 'Raspberry Summer' !!! Lovey dubby Wonderful and very beautiful! Thumbs up

'Ava' is great to have for color in the late Summer. I noticed last year that in the flower bed where the plants are it looked to be doing great, whereas, the other Agastaches weren't colorful or as colorful.

I love Agastaches! Lovey dubby They attract Hummers and/or BF's/Bees, they're long blooming and low maintenance. What more could a gardener want?! Green Grin!

The ones I rooted were the Acapulco series. They all should root though. The reason I rooted them was because I wanted more of the specific red and orange colors. I'm glad High Country Gardens is comng back! I had planned on ordering several Agastache from them this year.

I've always look forward to the new introductions they offer each year, as well as, all the Agastaches, Salvias and other plants and gardening items! Lovey dubby Thumbs up

I had looked at their website but decided they dont have much for my zone. The agastaches are tempting.I need to keep track of all the new plants I want. There will have to be some hard choices as I am running out of room and the plants I started with 5 years ago need dividing.
