I like them both. If forced to choose between them I would pick #10 but would enjoy either in the garden.

I have a place for each

Sadly, they are not mine. They are siblings. #10 is strongly being considered for introduction.

If introduced, #10 would be in my garden. Can we ask whose seedlings they are?

They are a cross of "Romania, Romania" x "Haunting" with "Haunting" being the Pod parent.

If #10 is a blue I would go with it.

Now I'm gonna show my ignorance -- is he/she a well-known hybridizer?

prefer # 10 of the two. He is an experienced hybridizer but has not put out scads of plants.

OK, thanks. And is he located in the Iris Capital of the world, too? I've only been paying attention to hybridizers the past couple of years, so it would be real easy for me to be unaware of important ones.

Griff has put out a little over 40 introductions. He lives in Northern Virginia (a suburb of Washington DC). So he lives in the Capital, but not the "Iris" Capital.
