This morning our friends at Baker Creek shared the link to our Garden Planting Calendar app and within 30 minutes over 500 people visited ATP through that link.

Over 30 new members have signed up in the past half hour! Hurray!

So, keep an eye out for newbies in the forums and when you see them, help make them feel welcome. Smiling

Just checked out Sue's link to Baker Creek.
Seems like we might have to adjust some of the planting dates.
Wonder if it wouldn't be helpful to give people we know in different parts of the U.S./ world a link to the planting app and ask them to look it over for their particular area?

We did do that Lynn and I made a lot of adjustments already and I'm continuing to refine the dates and system with each new piece of feedback we get. It's constantly being improved upon. Smiling

Went and took a look at the reference material for my little neck of the world again. I noticed the pdf file from the UMass extension I've been using has been replaced. If what I've found is any example, Dave's done a remarkable job! Just my town and those adjacent to it have a 2 week difference in last frost date. With one exception this difference occurs within town boundaries as well, perhaps due to being at the edges of the valley. Three out of five of these towns have a single zip code so local knowledge is still necessary but to a small extent.
