I was quite proud of my ability to keep salsa verde alive for two years, but it seemed to bloom itself to death last year. I imagine I will try again, I really like that one.

It didn't leave any rooted stems or leaves?
Ahh, I just looked it up, it is one of the S. makinoi sedum.
Have you tried Limelight? I see my one small pot is alive and seems to be well. It goes semi-dormant here.
Winter of 2011/12, my first winter with it.

Here it is this last Nov. after rain and cold. Already starting to go semi-dormant. They really need good drainage to stay healthy. I was out looking at it a couple of days ago, it is looking good, I can see tons of little rosette tucked down just waiting for warmer weather.

That's interesting. I lost 'Chocolate Ball' as well and maybe 'Ogon'. Seems to be a pattern developing. Glare
I garden for the pollinators.

I might give it one more try, maybe give it more shade? Same with Ogon.

Container has southern exposure but I think the little tree gave Choc. Ball a bit of shade.
