That is great news, but I don't see the garden calendar icon, where is it located?

O.K. I see it, but someone said it was at the top, and I guess it moves down on the side, depending on how many ads are at the top.

We've now had almost 4,000 people visit the site from lifehacker. That's an astounding number!

Dave, what can we do to give information to those that live in frost free areas, like South Florida?
There should be information to guide them also, according to rainy season, dry season? And I don't know what else.
This is for zones 9 & 10, frost free.

Anyone who tries to use the app in a frost free area will be given a message letting them know that the app won't give them specific dates, but that they should visit our edibles forum for particular advice.

The link I posted above gives some great advice on when to plant different veggies. Wouldn't that be helpful?

Yes, it's helpful but I'm not ready to just copy and paste that information into the app. For now I think pointing people to our forums is best.

Update: We've had over 6,000 visits today from the lifehacker link. Many more from other sources, too.

Dave, this is just awesome news - is it a record?

It's definitely a record.

The most we've ever had in one day was about 5,000 visitors (total) in a day.

Already today we have had 9,267 visitors total. We'll definitely end up with over 10,000 which means that this is more than double the visitors of our previous 1 day record! Amazing!

I just giggled out loud when I read Dave's words and the cats came running to see what was going on. I never giggle in January's gray gloom; now that's another record!

Amazing numbers, exciting, and a great payoff for Dave's hard work on this app.
I also like that the tab now says Webapps.
