It may take me some time to locate all my paint and shoes. I never keep anything organized. Have a question, do you have to rough up the shoes with sandpaper before beginning to paint.? That thought just popped into my head. Shrug!

Mornings are in the high 30's, but it got up to 71 today, so nice. Still miss that rain though. I never know if I have to dress warm or not.

There was a little bit of texture on the surface of my shoes so I didn't rough it at all. There were some slick spots too. I'm not sure yet if I should have or not, guess I'll find out soon enough. Actually, I think it will probably stick pretty well because the shoes didn't have a shiny slick surface. I doubt if the paint would work very well on something like patent leather, though. Too glossy and slick.

Cold here today, high of 31*. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
