The Show is held at the Strawberry Blossom farm in Wayne and is still ongoing to Sunday, Jan 20.
I had a very good time, the exhibits were beautiful and there was a great selection of Orchids to be picked up from the vendor tables.
Here is a selection of pictures, I also took pictures of some of the tags ( not all), which I can "fill in" if needed.

I am always glad that Dave certainly makes it easy for us to view a lot of pictures in a snap, right?

Regarding the pretty Kitty - every so often something touched your legs, it was this Kitty weaving around the legs of the customers.
And - those two cute dogs in the Baby carriage - I was so amazed how well behaved they were. I just had to take a couple of pictures.

This was btw their first show at that location and I was so happily surprised how beautifully everything was arranged and the vendor list was just great and included Andy's Orchids, J&L, Parkside, Glen Decker and more. When I was there, judging was still going on, I almost think I want to go back tomorrow and see the ribbons.

Lovely, Ursula. I'd go back too. With so many beautiful displays you will see things you missed the first time.

Love the grey velvet kitty. Feline 'Grey Velvet' as the orchidist would say.

Ursula, do you recall the name of the orchid in the 5th picture? It's calling my name.

Jim, I thought it was Cymbidium tracyanum.

I just edited my post, I had a tag for the tracyanum hybrid ( ?) in the next picture.
Now I really have to go back tomorrow to make sure....

Actually, it is Cym Sleeping Beauty 'Tracyanum'! ( The tag said Cym Sleeping Beauty 'tracyanum')
It turns out the tag I had photographed was the correct one.
But, if you look at the Santa Barbara Orchids website, they list a couple of clones of Sleeping Beauty, which are much more yellow and are very different.

Interestingly enough, Sleeping Beauty has no tracyanum in its parentage. It is Sussex Dawn x Durham Castle

You will need to click on the 8th link from the top ( on the left side of the page.) Then click on Cym Sarah Jean.

But, look at pictures of Cym schroederi at the SBO site.

I took some pictures which I will post later.

That tag looks funky!
Btw the plant is a regular size Cymbidium, nothing miniature about it.

It goes on the want list. How did Carol's photo get in your post?

Carol's photo?
Jim, are you on a tablet right now, viewing this?
I find that on my IPad pictures in any thread can be quite jumbled. The first time that happened, I edited everything to fix it, only to realize it doesn't get jumbled on my Laptop.

That must be it. I just checked on my big desk top and there is no problem. It switched your picture of the plant with Carol's standard photo on my Ipad. Strange! I'm thinking Carol must somehow be behind this. Rolling on the floor laughing

I just reloaded this page on my IPad and Carol's photo is gone, replaced by the plant. Shrug!
