If you are having trouble getting rid of them this works great, the old fashioned fly paper, I stretch them over my plants, don't put on leaves as it sticks fast.

I found some yellow cards that have sticky stuff on both side. I can not believe how many gnats there is on them. Still the gnats seem to be winning the war. Maybe I should us 2 at a time Blinking

Did you know that you can buy a can of that sticky stuff and make your own cards? It's called "Tangle Trap" and you can get it from Amazon. I cut up bright yellow file folders, punch a hole in them and then coat them with the sticky. I think it's cheaper than buying the cards and you can make them in the size you prefer; I've had my can for several years.

I just found it on Ebay... comes in a spray and a can. I think I will try them both. If the spray works out I may put some on one side of a piece of cardboard and put it on my sofa. Maybe it will keep the cats off of it and my grow tank! I really hate cat hair all over my butt LOL! I daughter is a Vet Tech and keeps telling me double sided sticky tape will keep the cats off of the kitchen counter.... not yet! Confused

I have trouble imagining that stuff in a spray! Seems like the nozzle would get all clogged up? Have to take a look, that has me curious!

And, thanks, Shirley! Can't wait to try them! I have a nice new, BIG area where I'll be able to put perennials this year! Hurray!

Soap solution works for me.I use Murphy's oil soap and make a solution of 16 ounces to five gallons of water.Dip small plants and spray the underside of leaves on large plants.Repeat once a week for three weeks to be sure of getting all eggs as they hatch.Note that this is soap and not detergent.

Will Dr Bronner's work as well? I have a large bottle of this soap. Organic Castile Liquid Soap. I'm all ears! Rhapsody
