This may seem a silly question, but if we used the image link information from the DB in an Ideas article, would we still be required to first gain permission from the owner of the image? The image in question is licensed as "all rights reserved", but I'm wondering about the possibility of using it *in house*. The owner of the image does not appear to be a recently active member, so I'm assuming a response may be difficult to obtain.

You don't have to request permission to use it if you are using it the "db_photo" bb code tag that is given in the database, and the system will handle all the attribution and so-forth for you.
