All of the peony seeds which I received from a swap are floating.
After two days of soaking,-- a few are sinking.
On a U tube presentation the lady says throw the floaters?
Any ideas on this?

I don't have any experience with peony seed but iris and daylily seed which float I discard.

I had heard that some floaters are not fertile.
But since all of them are the same then I am wondering
whether they are not just super dry.

That is true. I shall keep them going, and see what they deliver.
I am soaking them in diluted hydrogen peroxide which bubbles of oxygen may be buoying them up.

I would try them regardless of floating. What do you have to lose really? Good luck Thumbs up

Yup, sow them all. You could mingle them. Spread the good ones as you would, and then stick the bad ones in between.
If the good ones germinate, they will be evenly spread and if you are lucky with the other ones, well you could transplant some.
