I heard we got an inch yesterday. The bog park was called Dog Park Lake Green Grin! I loved it. Today is still cloudy but the standing water is gone.

My rain gauge shows 1.82" - pretty amazing winter we've had. I kept thanking the Canadians I was working with for bringing the rains with them - they just rolled their eyes.... nodding

Got tons of work done yesterday in the on-again-off-again rain/sun/dark/dry - as long as you have an old sweater with a zipper in it, you're good! Transplanted a few things, did a lot of digging - I have some large rocks I purchased for the landscape that I need to get put down deeper. The soil is so much easier to work when wet.

That is great Sheryl ! Hurray! I was busy planting pots of pansies for the front yard to replace all the frozen Canna's, plumbago and lantana. It is just 49 here now and pretty windy. It was cold working out there but sure beats July ! Thumbs up

Ain't that the truth, lol! Still, pretty chilly.

I walk into a .99cent store today and walk out with 4 plants. I walk into Lowe's for light bulbs and walk out with 3 more.... a plant freak and an el-cheap-o can be a dangerous combination.

LOL, it is - it kind of worries me sometimes, though - I have so little discretion when it comes to plants and animals ... maybe a little more now days with plants, but an addiction (passion?) is an addiction (passion), I guess. I guess once I start hiding the bills from Teddy we can call it a problem!

I love animals and plants but I can't have a garden right now since I chose to go to school full time and live in an aprtment. And no pets becasue I am upstairs . . . and again, in an apartment. But I'll tell ya, the very minute I can buy a home after I graduate, the rescue dog gets to find a new forever home with me and my garden will fill up quickly. Hurray! Hurray!

It was gorgeous, and came down with very heavy big , flakes. The weather guy just said we may get more by 7:00 tonight. It did wreck the big Golf Tournament here and tomorrow is the big Rodeo Parade so the Chamber of Commerce can not be to happy but a lot of us are really enjoying the change. Hurray!
