I am so terrifies of falling ,I drive to the mailbox at the end of the drivway.
We are due for 44* and rain Monday.That should take care of most of the snow.

I don't know how far is your mail box but I use coarse sand on my sidewalks and it does a good job. You are right to avoid falling at any cost. I agree

Clint, people around here do not know how to drive in snow either.. It's a military town with ton's of brand new drivers every year. Also people from all over the US. I do pretty good, I had a lot of practice when my brother lived in Ohio, don't miss that drive! Whistling

Wow, that's some snow Jo Ann! Your pictures are beautiful. We got 12 inches of snow 1 year, wet and heavy. 1990 something. Many carports collapsed and people with flat roofs had to get out and remove some of the snow. Love the snow up in the mountains but not down here were we live.
