I got over the 'little' factor long ago; about the only problem with it is that everybody expects us to go into those little crooks and crannies that nobody else can get into, like the little bitty crawl space beneath my house when there's the possibility of a leak.

But I'd for sure get lost in 3 feet of snow.

snowshoes keep you on top. I've gone from 5'3 1/2" to 5' 1". annoying.

What a mess. Just heard on the news that already 20 inches snow on the ground in Suffolk County. Our major East to West road the Long Island Expressway is closed in Suffolk. Don't know exactly how much is on the ground here but more snow on the north shore of Long Island, which is where I am, than on the south shore. And the snow is still to continue all night long.

Been short all my life, wished when kid I would have gotten to 5;3" as thought that was a giant, was 5' most of life now 4'11"

Power stayed on. About 2" of snow & still at it. the small type flakes so our trees are not bent over.

Lucy, very good that your power stayed on. Mine did also. Looks to be about 18 inches here. The news is showing pictures all around and it is quite a sight. Don't know when we have ever seen so much snow.

We evidently did lose some power overnight, blinking stove light said so. John has cleared the car, but the person who plows the driveway has not had a chance to come around. Traffic allowed agin after 4pm, but people are not going to hurry out. Very smart!

Yes, they are telling everyone on the news to stay home!

If those charts are right and reading in reverse,I should be around 8 feet tall.

Polly I used to be 5'7 as I grew older I shrank I think it was 5'5"
