For anyone interested the garden show is Feb 20th - 24th tickets bought for a single day - before 2/20 are $16.00 at the door its $20
Lets get a group of local ATP'ers to come out for this show!! 'Spring' this was your idea - what day works for people? I would love to meet people in person (how fun would that be! - and slightly awkward but hey!!) Rolling on the floor laughing
For more info here is the website http://www.gardenshow.com/
Let me know interest level, day and time
Cheers

I am interested in going, and would prefer a weekday rather than weekend (less crowds). Thursday? And, Greg, it's only awkward for the first few minutes -- then common interests take over.

I've posted an invite on DG as well, perhaps some of our 'old friends' will join us. I have no particular loyalty to one site over the other, I missed (or ignored) most of the past drama.

A picture is always welcome. My heucheras are all starting to perk up, most came from Springcolor (many thanks again). Here's a fav, Burnished Bronze:

Beatiful Deb, and I love the frosty look to the fine cilia on the leaves.

Yes that is really nice!! Deb - Lynn means to say "Deb" not "Bev" Smiling Okay so Deb, are we planning on Thursday? or Friday??
Please let me know - there is a friend of Bev's who is speaking on Friday at 1130, so I may want to do that, but if Thursday works better that's okay too!!
It will be really fun to meet in person!
Cheers Lovey dubby (I'm using this during Feb, instead of jumpy/bouncy guy!)
Peace

I haven't gone for a couple of years. I think I will go to this one and see what they have there. I always have enjoyed going to it, though. I live in Gresham, so it's not far to go for me.

I am so tempted, but I have 'Insights into Gardening' on Sat. in Corvallis. I don't think I can do two in one weekend. Sad
I have heard such great things about the Portland Show. Maybe next year.

As a follow-up to my earlier post, I have had absolutely no response or even comment from anyone at DG. I was rather hoping some of the close-to-Seattle gardeners would join up with us. Apparently not. Pity, it was such a fun and lively bunch. Guess I'll just embrace the old saying...change is good.
