Only one place where Crotons seem to survive and only one person who can make them thrive in the U.S. Hetty, wonderful banner and quite a change from the usual fare. how about the others in your collection?
Regards,
Arif.
Thanks! We have quite a substantial collection of Crotons (Codiaeum variegatum) at the Naples Botanical Garden. Maybe I should take some more pictures. Right now the new leaves are starting to emerge on most after winter dormancy.
I have seen these small trees growing in their natural habitat. They are glorious when they are ten feet or higher, the variety of colours and shapes . Need humidity though. They did quite well in Karachi next to the sea, over here .

Arif.
