Hardy waterlily Dallas
"Nymphaea Dallas" Hardy from zone 4-11. Plant Size: Medium. Bred by Dr. Kirk Stawn 1991, flower is a dark pink, 4“- 5“ across. Has a spread of 4'-6', odorato root system. Leaves are dark green to purplish. Will grow in 6' to 2.5' of water. Best to grow in 1.5' of water. You can use a 2 to 4 gallon container. Once plant is matured the flower will sometimes stand above water surface. I have to give this plant 1st prize for the pink hardy waterlilies, for two reasons. It starts growing very early in the season and is an excellent bloomer. Great for cover in any pond. Very good for earthen pond. Will spread pretty rapidly. Full sun
