Lovely! I had not realized that 'Billie the Brownie' (my husband's plant) had made it to Europe. Note the spelling, though, as it was named after a radio character. Ace is in excellant grower as well.

Note that the flowers at the top & left side of the photo are more brown. that means that the flowers have been open for a longer time. I told John that it was growing in Lithuania & he was very pleased.

Eko If you hybridize with MTBs, 'Billie the Brownie' carries the plicata gene as does 'Pardner'. A friend had plicatas using 'Pardner. as a pod parent.

I am sure that the TBs keep you busy. John & I prefer the medians, although I am the only person to do border irises. I made an experimental cross & then realized I had to follow it up. John sometimes works with species like I. verna as well.
