The snow looks pretty but I am glad there is no snow here.

Greg - No, not really. What's been unusual is the LACK of snow. We traditionally get between 27-40" of snow a season (Sept-May), but this year, this was our first real "storm" and we only got about 9-12". I'm hoping that this March, which is traditionally our snowiest month, will really sock us good a couple of times. We need the moisture desperately.

This is what I'd thought, but I don't watch the weather, so I hardly know what's going on in my own state, much less CO!! May you get all the snow you're looking for!! Here in Seattle we also rely on mountain snow for our water supply - ours is totally fine though!! Hurray! I tip my hat to you.

I am patiently (ok not so patient about it) waiting for spring. Still too early here to do much of anything in the garden. Meantime I am still working on my weight loss and exercising.

I took a walk around the garden. Daffodils up all over the place. These are ones I had in my garden, the ones just planted last fall are not showing yet. I find that the bulbs planted the fall prior always break ground later than the bulbs already in the garden from past years. There are even some with flower buds showing.
