My most recent picture, I rarely have my picture taken as I am usually behind the camera. This was a month ago. Oh I can hardly wait to meet and hold this babe!
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned applying Epsom Salts around their roses in any of the articles. I find the flowers to be stronger colours, bigger blooms and healthier plants.
I used to do that, but saw no difference in my roses, so now I only use epsom salts on my clematises. This has saved me a ton of money in the last few years now that the price of epsom salts has quintupled.
The container resembling a half-gallon of milk cost 89 cents at WalMart a few years ago, but now it's $4.87. Our local farm supply store doesn't carry it in bulk, darn it.
It was such a surprise to see! I'm originally from Detroit, but have lived here for almost 30 years (yikes the time!) so I forget that winter doesn't end in February! I do love our PNW climate!
Lots of lovely artucles going on for Rose Week. Of course the roses here aren't doing anything but spring will come (and I hope soon). We had a warm January but pretty much a cold February. Hopefully March will be mild. We will see.
