I am so sorry this photo is not better. It is the only one I have.

Can any of you ID it from this photo?

It is a bit hard to see the photo clearly as it won't enlarge but it looks a bit like Yucca.

That's it. It's a Yucca. Don't know which one, it grows every where here in the Willamette Valley. Has beautiful blooms.
Thank you so much Lin. Group hug

Sorry about the tiny photo. I gave this away 2 years ago and the person sent the photo to me asking what it is. It had been growing here for years when I gave it away. I think it is getting to much shade in the new home. It stayed dark green and in a nice clump here in full sun.

We have Yucca's filamentosa, aloifolia, gloriosa and the spineless Yucca elephantipes that grow here. I'm not sure which ones grow in the NW but maybe Yucca glauca? Soapweed (Yucca glauca)

It might be glauca. I'll have to check the blooms this summer. I'll take full size photos this summer. They are all over town.

Could it also be Cordyline australis Lynn? The growth habit looks correct, they make a stem with old leaves still attached to the lower stem.

No, it was an older yucca that was in our yard when we bought this place. I think it is growing like that because of it's new environment. I'll see if I can find a photo of it before the move to a new home.

Very doubtful that it is the glauca species. While it may not be so blue and perhaps even grow larger than "normal" in your climate, Yucca glauca has much narrower leaves and a different growth habit of stem and leaves. I am not familiar enough with the other species to comment on them.
