Do Not Look if :

- you have allergies to semps without tags,
- have a weakened immune system and can't resist photos of semps in a group,
- if your doctor has advised you to stay indoors with your Haworthias.

PattyN said:my favorite is Oddity because it is so different from any of the others. And therefore I can ID it 😻 (no idea how to attach a photo from the plant database here)

Are there semp sales that go on thru this group like the iris group has? Or is it all just personal trades etc? The photos from you guys are getting me psyched!

Patty, you learn really fast, must be the semp influence going on here. Green Grin!
We don't have sales going on in our threads, but do try to keep everyone up to date on any specials the semp nurseries may be having.

http://www.squawmountaingarden... Click on 'Specials' top right side of page
http://www.northhillsnursery.c... Martha always sends a free plant with your order. Prices are reasonable and generous.
http://edelweissperennials.com... More expensive, but can some times has new varieties from Europe.
http://www.youngs-garden.com/s... Reasonable prices + a free variety.
http://perennialobsessions.com... Reasonable prices, generous portions. Will have a new website up and running in the next month. Has over 400 varieties to choose from on the new site.

Bev ~ woo hoo ... I will post some pics of some of mine tomorrow (I am a desk slave today). Tell me what kinds you like. I have jovi's too, both kinds. And not to worry, when I first came on here your humor is what hooked me 😹

Lynn, I am scoping out the SMG site but I hate to order b/c my friend who gave me 50-100 kinds got most of them from SMG. They look so different at diff times of the year that I have no idea which ones I have and don't want to buy ones i might have already.

SMG rotates his stock, presenting new ones through out the year/years.

Try North Hills Nursery, Edelweiss, Young's or Perennial Obsession. They are all great sources.

Thanks Greg! I was at one point in time very active on the forum but have been kinda busy lately. 'Rita Jane' is one of my favorites because of the thick fleshy leaves. 'Crimsonette' is like a fireworks display in the spring and summer. Big Grin

Both look really cool!! And I tend to go to older threads so have read many of your posts!! And enjoyed your photos too! Hilarious!
Do you grow your semps in raised beds? And if so are they the only things in the beds or do you share the space with other things? I tip my hat to you.
