Scentsational does make some interested cup-shaped blooms as it ages, though.

I love how SiR darkens as it ages. Lagerfeld, who's right next to it, has a few blooms, so the mixture of the rich yellow with the pale lavender will be just lovely, I think.

Tuscan Sun was one I was worried about coming back. But come back it did.

DH chose this Wildfire. Too bad there's no smell, but it does brighten up a dingy corner!

And, lastly, Winter Magic is just a wonderful teeny rose. I took one to work and put it in my teeny vase.. and it smelled up my workplace so nicely! Too bad it didn't last long, though.. Got this from Nor'East last year.. too bad they're not selling to the public any longer. :(

One last picture. I won't take a picture until it's 100% complete, but I finally got my ponds running. One is a waterfall, and the other is a large collection pond that recirculates the water to the top pond. I found these absolutely GORGEOUS Bluebells (can't remember the name right off the top of my head) and planted them on either side so they can drape into the water if they want. In the middle is my Japanese Maple "Lion Head". This has been the sturdiest little JM ever.. poor thing was dehydrated as an old bone and lost all it's leaves. After I put it in the ground, within 2 weeks, fully leafed out! I can't wait to see it in the fall! I also planted 4 Leadworts in the front for fall color.

I like shorter parades, Toni. When these threads get beyond a certain point, I type my post and then have to wait for a while before the letters show up on the screen. Very disconcerting.

Your Ebb Tide must have been mislabeled, although this has been a funny year for roses as far as color is concerned. A lot of my pink roses have bloomed in white, and Fallon at Garden Valley Ranch said they're experiencing the same phenomenon.

Your Brillant rose will produce much bigger blooms eventually. They grow larger as the bush grows larger. My newest one is a band rose and the blooms are ridiculously small, but the older one I have produces large blooms.

Your Strike It Rich looks spectacular.

I think your Blue Bells are Campanula.

Zuzu - Like always, you're right on the money! I finally managed to go back to the nursery & get a photo of the plant.. the mystery bluebells are Campanula 'Sarastro'.

Sounds like I finally hit a winner! Smiling If it grows in Ithica NY, it'll grow here. I know Ithica.. and it's much more harsher cold than I get.
