As a comment about Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Joan Senior'), DeweyRooter wrote:

I am in zone 8b, and Joan Senior is one of my absolute favorites. She grows and spreads prolifically here, and her bloom period is quite long. Blooms are always perfect, and the foliage is attractive all winter.

I did have a bad rust outbreak in April this year, and Joan was severely affected. I cut all the fans back and treated with Green Magic. She has recovered and is putting on an impressive bloom show in June.

It works OK. It's a concentrate that is actually a cleaning solution. Since writing the above, I came back to edit my comment. I had to get rid of Joan Senior since my plants came down with rust again after I thought I had solved the problem. I do not recommend Joan Senior for southern gardens even though it is lovely and has so many other good traits.
