Had enough violence in my life this last week, think I will pass on seeing that movie. Life is way to short.
Here is one of my heuffs showing crispy leaves from our hot dry spell. They are all looking happier now that weather has cooled and we got some rain.
Opps, cropped the crispy leaves out of picture. I do believe they will make it. : )

I, too, have lots with crispy leaves this year. In part because of all the rain and rot earlier, I am reluctant to give much water until the heat is gone. Some paradox! They need water because of the heat, but it makes them rot. I figure they can survive the drying a bit better than they can survive the rot. It's been a learning year here.

Mine are all looking fabulous, due to some cooler temps, as well as a bit of rain after a long hot dry summer. The colours are amazing.
