I did see Pinnacle this spring.. guess that'll have to make it's way into my basket next spring. LOL! Lessee: which ones of yours do I want?

ALL!

lol!!!!!

Winning Colors, Veilchenbleu (even if it is a single-flowerer), Trade Winds, Summer Memories (My Tequila Sunrise doesn't look that blinding.. and it's a teeny rose!), Solitude (that's a DEFINITE for the 2011 year, too bad it's only at Regans.. maybe I can get Tagawa's to order a couple from Star Roses for me?), oh, too many to list! Can I just inherit your yard? LOL!

I may just have to add that Solitude to my wish list, I noticed I have already taken several pictures of it so obviously I am attracted to it every time I see it! Love the scallops and coloring!

So many purely perfect blooms... it's like perusing a catalog. They really are stellar - one after another after another! I wish I could see them all in person. Here in New York we're having an especially hot summer, so even though the garden has been in continuous bloom since early June, the blooms sizzle in the heat and don't last too long right now, so it's nice to see photos of such beautifully formed blooms.

Thanks, Mike. I wish you could see them all in person too. Maybe next year you could come here later than February.

This summer is heavenly so far. The curculio weevils have died down for the year and the weather is surprisingly cool -- high 70s and low 80s every day, plunging to the 50s every night (and some high 40s forecast for the coming week). The roses are thriving on it and my water bill's going to be lower than it has been in years.

I think I'm responsible for the cool weather. I broke down and paid a lot of money for a fancy air conditioning unit, but I've only had to use it about three times in the last couple of months.

Now that it's too late for everyone that wants Solitude, I just noticed it was on the list for Roses Unlimited's "buy-one-get-one-free sale" in June.

For this year, but not next! Smiling RU will be top of my shopping list for 2011.
