Ginger, I am very glad that the doctor and staff made D*O*G's passing a little easier to bear. Big big hugs from here.

Thanks for sharing this bit more of your jouney. Do you have plans to place the ashes somewhere that is special to you?

Hoping the seeds flower and bring you continuing comfort. What a sweet memory Group hug

Marilyn...the ashes will be buried in the memory garden with the rest of my kids...5 Greyhounds and 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks. D*O*G is the first cremated...no need while Bill was alive. I will plant the butterfly on top of his grave. Funny while driving to town I was thinking what to plant there...thought butterfly weed...now he will have a butterfly embedded with wildflower seeds. I'm glad you found a smile. Somehow I think D*O*G would be glad of that. Lovey dubby

Thanks...D*O*G was so laid back and loving. A few times when other dogs showed up on my property he would join in the "pack mentality", but 99.99% of the time all he wanted was to love and be loved in return. My son found him running the roads...I guess as a result he was terrified of storms. Poor baby would somehow hunker down between the tub and toilet...I'm surprised he was able to fit Blinking
