Africa was the blackest I have grown, but it has an orange throat. Here, at least, it was an unimpressive plant with unimpressive scapes. But, at least in the morning, the flowers were almost sooty coal black.

Mary, you can tree mail Bob for details on how much he sells it for and shipping etc. Black F.R. is a hard to find daylily. I think once people have it, they want to keep it!
