Hey, nice! I couldn't resist two varigateds the other day. One had a seed pod, and I didn't keep a close eye on it, the seeds flew away! Wa! One of the plants is varigated white, and the other has yellow varigations. One plant has white blooms, and the other light red, sort of a watermellon color. Photos someday when they bloom.

A fellow in South East Asia said the varigated seed pods are white when they have varigated seeds inside. That makes sense, sort of. Two red flowered parents make red seed pods.

A tomato?

I'm not sure about adeniums but most seed from variegated plants yield albino plants. At leat that is true for brugs and tomatoes.

Varigated tomatoes??

Wilfred's seeds set a lot of albinos. About 5%. I thing they were so inbred, he didn't cross pollinate, he used a tiny paintbrush to twiddle around inside the flower to move the pollen to the pistil. Someone else said he was taught how to pollinate Adeniums by using a cat's whisker!

I don't know of any variegated tomato varieties since the problem would be that they had to be propagated from cuttings. They turn up occasionally from regular seed but keeping them going is a waste of time.

OK, thanks for that. I am highly allergic to tomatoes, so don't grow them. They give me pain resembling arthritis.
