Hello everyone,
I had to go back to Ecuador to finish up my visa , & I am still not finished with that. I have to return to register it once I get some more money, but I did gather some new plants while on my way back. This is a picture of one I would like I.D.'d, & I would like to figure out of the inflorescence of these flowers is one sex or two also. The two specimens I have are both in flower, but I do not know what sex they are yet. You have to love nature. This plant looks to be delectable to something that was in the neighborhood. No insects with the plant, but it could have been something nocturnal. I am waiting on new growth now. Since I saw it was flowering, I collected two flowering specimens to hopefully pollinate 1 with the other flowers, but I do not know if that is possible with this plant. Is it male or female? Anyone have any ideas what this is? The pinkish water is an anti-fungal treatment. Since I do not know what kind of crap I brought home attached to my plants I am giving them a root hormone treatment, & anti-fungal to prevent root rot & other such horrible fates
