Yes, I'd think they would be ok, just remember they have to have (full) sun to stay open.

oh no.. really?????.. said part shade when I bought them... poopie!!!!

The flowers close up when they don't get sun, at least that's what I noticed when I've grew them. When the sun moved during the day and they got shaded, they closed up.

Found this link that states, Light: "Evolvulus does best in full sun, but can tolerate a little shade, especially at midday."
