A friend just e-mailed asking if the Jordan's are still in business. They are and now have a catalog online. I have no business associations with Memory and John but have been a customer of theirs since moving to SC. They are good, honest folks and really know how to grow daylilies! They are trying to downsize and their prices can't be beat. Check 'em out and tell 'em I sent you!

Another great source is Singing Oakes Daylilies owned by Peggy and Jim Jeffcoat. They are in the situation of wanting to downsize also and are great growers, lovely people and very generous. Tell them I send you too.

We heartily agree with LALAMBCHOP's recommendation. We have bought from both the past few years and have more coming from both in April. When I am looking for a certain daylily, I check with both of these growers.

I looked all over the place trying to find Jordan's site last night including Charlottes, never could find it. A friend pointed out this thread and I'm glad you posted a link. Why are they so hard to find I wonder? I thought Charlottes at least would have them.....I've bought from Singing Oakes before and am doing so again this year. For some reason they have quite a few that appeal to me.....Maryl

Leslie, did you add this information to the tab above "Recommendations" ? It is an area for members to recommend favorite places to buy plants, garden seeds etc.

I would like to see more daylily forum regulars make posts under the Recommendations! But, then, I am guilty of not putting all my favorites in yet either! .
