The advanced quize wasn't that difficult. They show a picture of a yucca and give you choice like a coreopsis, a grass, a salvia and an aster. If they wanted to make is difficult they should show a picture of a yucca and give you choices like, Yucca glauca, Yucca louisianensis, Yucca rupicola and Yucca thompsoniana. Then I would have had trouble.

I'll have to go back and take the rest of the tests. I'm fairly sure I won't get a perfect score.

I started taking other states and went back to do the regions, and I think I broke it.

Fun while it lasted though!

Multiple choice strategy from school days. If you don't know the answer right away, just eliminate the ones it can't be, then most of the time you can figure out which is more likely. I enjoyed the quiz!

I still remember when I took two plant field courses at the university years ago. Every week there'd be quizzes. Usually he'd put out specimens of the plants the class had ID's the week ago on forays and field trips, and then we'd have to write out answers on each one. Like common name, family or botanical name, sometimes botanical details like what kind of leaves or leaf arrangement, for instance. Points off for spelling! We really studied! But still, I enjoyed those classes more than my other classes!

I had a class on native plants last semester and absolutely loved it. Went to McKinney Falls, Hamilton Pool, and even had John Ahrnes give us a grand tour of Westcave Preserve.

BTW Josephine, thank you so much for talking with me. I did get an A in my paper. Lovey dubby

That sounds like fun! I've been to McKinney Falls a few times. We don't get around to going to parks and such very much these days. But I'm going to the Native San Antonio event at the Land Heritage Institute land on the southside of S.A. on March 16...God willing and the creek don't rise!
