The top 2 are in 4 inch pots, one will probably end up on my desk at work. The second 2 are 12 inch pots.

Lynn, I think thats just damage to the outer leaves from being too wet and in shade. I took as many of the damaged leaves off as I could, but was afraid to go too far incase I killed it altogether.
I just hope that a very stressful winter followed by early in the year splitting wont mean that I get lots of flowers before they get a chance to offset.

Many of mine are changing now. by the end of March there will be lots of color in the beds, with a succession of cultivars that change later in the spring.
Today is the first time in almost 2 weeks that I have checked my semps. Did my heart good to see them all healthy and happy.

Some of them look just like photos of plants I thought about ordering today. I swear I saw some of them today.

Seriously though... I'm torn about plant tags and names. I do see the benefit of knowing the names of the plants; however, the tags would ruin the beauty of your planting somewhat. It does bother me though that I have so many plants that I have no idea the name. I think we need some kind of underground tag that barely sticks out of the ground so we can see the name if we want but it goes back down when we don't need to know. LOL.
