I might try a few, one more time with your directions. So many great colors on the pansies these days

Now I know,I just thought it had such nice coloring. Never seen a camp robber/scrub jay before. The other birds didn't care for it.

Yes, the scrub jays will eat other birds' eggs. But I still love them.

Lynn---I checked today, and there are no self sown 'Tiger Eyes', unfortunately. 'Sweeties' self sowed though.

Perfect day here today. Sitting outside on an Adirondack wear short sleeves!

Thanks for looking Stephanie. Just one more question on the Tiger Eyes. Do they make new plants from runners or roots. I don't want to bother with something that has to be planted every couple years.

The weather was beautiful her today. The semps are becoming very intense in their colors.

Ground comfrey, Symphytum grandiflorum. I've been pleasantly surprised at how adaptable this is. I put it in a difficult corner - pretty dry (under the eaves of roof and porch) and behind a large hydrangea. The hydrangea is just starting to bud out so the comfrey has morning sun but by the time the hydrangea leafs out, the little comfrey gets very little light or water. As I recall from last season, the bloom holds on for a long time, and it spreads out quickly (I got a couple clumps from a friend which have now colonized nicely). What a champ!

Pussywillow - bringing in for some color and to get some rootings, plan to use them as a summer screen between us and neighbors.

Saw some leuthothoe blooming today (I think), something I don't have any of. Must correct that - I think it would grow nicely down by the pond.
