I grow these orchids in my garden without any special care because they are native to Argentina.
The first one is an oncidium longicornu. The blooms are very small. I grow it on a piece of branch.
The second one is an oncidium divaricatum. It has very long inflorescences. I´m holding the pot in the first picture to show you how long they are. The second photo is a detail of the flowers. I didn't take these photos this year. They were taken three or four years ago

Wow, Ceci, that is quite a troop of dancing ladies there. Very nice. I would love to see more orchids that grow for you in Argentina. Please feel free to join our little group.

Thank you Jim and Ursula. I'm glad you liked them.

This brassavola tuberculata is the only one in bloom in my garden

I took the photo after a rain. You can see the water on the flower

And here another oncidium. Oncidium bifolium is the most common orchid here.

Jim, I think you have the best climate in Florida to grow orchids. Your plants are beautiful!

Thank you Jim. I don't understand very well this Forums yet. I've seen a monthly thread but I don't have many blooms these days. Most of my orchids bloom during the Spring and we are at the end of the Summer now. Anyway, I have some photos of my plants taken when they were blooming.
In the meantime I'll show you another native orchid.
Miltonia flavescens

This plant was growing on a plum tree, but the tree fell down during a storm and my husband had to cut the branches with the orchid.

These are the blooms of my campilocentrum. It is a mini orchid. It has clusters of tiny flowers of about one millimetre wide.

Is the Campilocentrum tied to a tree? Cute blooms.

Ursula, the campilocentrum is tied to a piece of tree bark.
Jim, I'm glad I showed something you didn't know. I think it must not be a common thing to do, because you have quite a collection !
Carol. I'm glad you liked the Miltonia. It grows like weed in the Province of Misiones in the North of Argentina.
