I got some Pinguicula or butterworts during a recent orchid show. I love the succulent-like leaves that form rosettes. I guess I got the Mexican variety as the leaves does not seem to do its carnivorous function right now. It is fun watching the leaves form in the middle. Is anyone growing this too? Would love to hear how you grow care for them.

It is a beauty. It has lovely leaf color.

I want to see later if it will make some blooms..one of the tags said big violet.

I bought a ping at the Philadelphia Flower Show earlier this month. I must look to see if it is nailing any gnats like my sundew is doing.

I notice the Pings get more attractive to the bugs when sun is shining on it, I guess they see the dew or they smell it ..hard for them to resist

They have yellow green leaf so maybe the reflected light is similar to that of a yellow sticky card. Good observation.

Oh sure, that's okay...at least I can refer to it once my plants start to bloom. Those are lovely looking blooms! Who would think it came from a carnivorous plant eh?

I know, 3 colors, our cup runneth over.
