Connie, that was a great explaination on how the acorns system works.
Bloom = acorn
Leaves = acorn
Entire plant = acorn

And Dave keeps adding new features. Hurray! Hurray! Lovey dubby

When I was it was Semps, i swooped down and left a few acorns....

My semps are doing pretty good, long as I keep them covered from the dag gum squirrels. Want to move the ones out in the wheel borrow closer to my oak tree so I can take the cloth from the wire i have on it....
sorry I have been such a stranger but i peek in on you all once in a while. Then I saw that raffle. I didn't make that big a bid but lord, girl , you know I would love to win some of those plants....

Everyone is a winner, cause this is such a fun, information filled week.

Thanks to you and Chris for bringing us the excitement. I wonder how we stack up, comments wise with the other weeks.

Would be fun to have some statistics. Cyber space has been burning up with all the viewings, acorns, articles etc etc etc.

So, I finally went to Lowe's. I was lost...I saw some pots with three of four succulants in them but no tags, just "assorted." Since I don't know what I"m doing I didn't want to buy the wrong thing. They did have hens and chicks, but I have some of those. Well, I'm guessing there are different varieties, but again, no ID...Eeek! I don't even know HOW to buy a semp!!! I'm a failure...

No you're not, Arlene. You must have had dinner on your mind. One should never try to do intelligent succulent shopping of any length of time on an empty stomach. As Scarlett said, " ....After all, tomorrow is another day".

Wrong ~ Glare !!!!! You are not a failure, you are a beginner. Those which have no tags are the famous NOIDs and highly desirable.

We all have them and use them to fill out our rocks and containers.

If you like the looks of it, buy it and ask for help to ID, in the meantime just enjoy watching it change and reproduce.

An X rated passtime without guilt Hilarious! Hilarious!

I did have dinner on my mind... Hilarious! But I have never felt so lost in the plant section before. It was scarey *Blush*

These are a few of what they had. I saw some tiny pots with singles, but again, not sure if they were right or not.

Oh, and the pebbles, they seemed like they were glued together. Hard as a rock (no pun intended). they didn't move at all.
