The Sempervivum Not-A-Raffle-Raffle

By dave

Such a diminutively cute plant needs to have an equally gigantic raffle, and that is exactly what we have for you this week. Come and view the table set out with prizes galore for a whole group of lucky winners!

Since you can't win more than one prize and if my math is correct (not my strong suit Hilarious! ) those entered have just over a 1 in 4 chance of winning. Math people do I have that right??

Each ticket is another chance to win.

887 tickets were sold. If you bought 88 tickets then you have a 1 in 10 chance.

But then, as soon as winner #1 is picked, all their tickets are removed and #2 is then chosen. So then your chances increase.

By the time the first 3 winners are drawn, probably quite a few tickets are removed from the pool since statistically, the ones who bought the most tickets will tend to be drawn first.

It's all random and we're had winners who only bought 1 ticket but that is very rare.
