Most of the semps with red color/pigment in them will turn dark red during the winter. The ones without red will go darker green during winter. This is a generalization but holds mostly true. Semps that are bright green or can do yellow, will go their most yellow during the spring when there is abundant moisture and they are growing at their most rapid rate. Never much noticed what the blues and grays do during those seasons, so I will have to track that down.

So to answer your question, a red arachnoidem would have dark red color and white webbing on it during the Christmas season. There's a small, red arach out there called "Red Cobweb" that gets to be about 1". That might be one you are looking for. Can't say for sure as mine are usually covered by snow then.

Red Cobweb is green in the winter here. It gets the red color come spring time. Very little webbing in winter, the webbing starts in the spring and gets heavier as summer approaches.

Clint if you just search with webbing it will give you a list of all the webbed semps. Must easier to look through them and find the one you want.

Wow. That's beautiful. Do you have any that are red in winter? Fuego seems to be good to me for winter color.

I don't think any of the webby ones are red in winter. But there are plenty of other semps that are a dark reddish brown in winter.
Afterglow is red for most of the year, from bright red to muted red.

Another one that is red for quite a long time.

This one is red starting in March and running into July.

Give this one plenty of room to grow full size. Red runs from March into July.

Clint another cool one, although medium sized is S. 'Pacific red devil' its a darker color this time of year, almost maroon, but then lightens up as it gets warmer out...it does stay red all year
Cheers

It's is really difficult to find a semp that is red all year. I will continue searching and let you know if I find one.
