I'm looking for the Tall Bearded Honorable Mention & Award of Merit all winners.

I need them for my diploma work.
Who can help me, where can I find it?

Try the American Iris Society website. Should be able to search on the "wiki" by AM, HM, and Dykes Medal, etc. There will be thousands, total!..Arlyn

You probably won't find quite all of them here, first because not all of them have been entered (yet ) and second because a search can only return a maximum of 1000 (I think) results and there are several thousand tall bearded iris that have won Honorable Mention and probably over 1000 have won the Award of Merit. You'll find a lot of them though.

It would be necessary from the beginning.

Do you have access to the American Iris Society's online iris register?

If so, just enter "HM 1998", for example, in the search box and you'll get every Honorable Mention winner for that year. You'll have to manually sort the TBs from all the other classes and you'll only be able to search one year/award at a time, but you will eventually find them all, at least back to 1950.

Dave recently completed an update to the iris database here at ATP so you can now find all* of the Honorable Mention and Award of Merit winners by doing a "Search by characteristics". Simply click the checkbox for "Tall Bearded" under Classification and the checkbox for "Award of Merit" under Awards and you'll get a list of every TB that has won the Award of Merit, according to the AIS iris register:

You can do the same thing with Honorable Mention winners, but there are so many that you can't get them all with a single search. Probably the easiest thing to do is to search by decade. When you click the checkbox for Honorable Mention a write box will appear. If you type in 199, you'll get all of the HM winners from 1990-1999, so you just need to type in 198 for the 80's HM winners, 197 for the 70's, 200 for the 2000's, etc.

Or you can do it year by year by simply typing the year into the write box.


*One note, the Iris register is only current on awards through 2010, so some of the ATP database information on the awards for 2011 and 2012 is incomplete. They will get added soon, though.
