Very nice!

I find myself wanting to click on each of them to make them bigger! Rolling on the floor laughing

What is the red plant with the white blooms?

Marilyn, that would be both. I created to banner to go with the article by Emma Elliott. Dave made it happen. He is so good to us, and makes it easy to coordinate things.

I met Emma 2 or 3 years ago. She is the one that got me interested in using plants in my sempervivum beds that would grow under the same conditions. I am forever grateful to her.

Thank you Chelle and Greg.

Chelle, the red plant with white blooms is Delosperma davyi.

It is hardy here, but not sure it would be hardy in your zone 5. You could over winter a pot in a garage?

I love the Delosperma plants. If you live in a colder zone, try the Jewel of Desert series. Some of those are very cold hardy.

I do love that plant Lynn!!! I'll have to check it out, I had a limited view of what delosperma look like (typical iceplant looking things!) whereas this looks like a sedum! Hurray! I tip my hat to you.

I did not know that they had so many colours. Got two somewhere, one with variegated leaves and one with normal green. Let them flower but the green one is this normal purplish colour the other, don't know yet.

Arif.

Lynn,

Love your banner!

The only plant shown that I grow is Penstemons (besides Agastaches and Salvias) in a rock garden. So I guess if I have any space left, I can grow semps.
Welcome to the Agastache and Salvias Forum!

Hummingbirds are beautiful flying jewels in the garden!
