I didn't know twister was patent it's Aeschynanthus 'Rasta' correct ??
and then my other one is Aeschynanthus 'Radicans' is that correct to?
This one was also labeled 'mona lisa' when i purchased it.Last summer a bird nested in it and i didn't have the heart to run it off until one day i didn't see it and the bird scared me so bad when it flew out of the plant as i took it off it's hanger,i ended up on my butt
& dropped the plant.
It seems to be coming along nicely though,it's blooming now.
So 'twister' is a cultivar,so what is 'mona lisa' considered or what's the correct terminology for it.I am not good with rather have never learned a lot about the terminology and their definitions.I learned some when i started collecting Hoya's but it was mostly the proper way to write the names. Unfortunately i have to write things down because of a short term memory problem caused by a brain lesion.
Thank you very much for the information and the lesson in the lipstick plants.
I do love having & sharing my plants.
