Jo Anne: Very pretty. I've noticed my allium foliage is already pretty far up. I don't have the one you posted but thanks for posting it. I'll see if they have any in the fall. Yes, shopping around pays.

Hi Julia.The first fall I planted it the foliage grew right away.and remained all winter.New sprouts came spring of '12 and this year there isnt any fall foliage but a few weeks ago they started their cycle.

Very nice and rather unique flower for an allium
