Thanks Lynn for showing us that semps can look great in containers which average 66 cents apiece. That way there's more money to spend on plants! Hurray!

Black isn't that much of a problem here in the Willamette Valley. Even if daytime temps are high, night time is in the upper 50's or lower 60's. Always cools down at night.
But I love the idea of painting them. Hmmm, maybe a light stone gray color? So they still look like little mortars?
Great idea Charleen, now I have to go get paint. Hurray!

I saw Walmart had some Granite paint. I bet a gray would be beautiful., you are right. or even terra cotta....

I just thought the granite color would look more realistic for a mortar. I'll have to go to Walmart, we have one here in Dallas. Hurray!
