I just got that one from Bluestone last fall and it blossomed. I love it!

Too bad this is an annual for me...
I've tried to grow it from seed twice and nothing ever germinates. I can't grow anything from seed!
Roses
are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)!

This one may very well be an interspecific hybrid, and as such never sets fertile seed. So don't feel badly . . .
Here in California it is sold as an annual for large scale bedding.

I saw guaranitica being grown in containers in Fukui Japan when I was there in 2009. The hummingbirds love my plant and do aerial dogfight battles for nectar access.

It's an annual for me also, but I get it each year since it's a wonderful Hummingbird plant!

I have found it is a happy perennial in northern Delaware.
