This is what they sent me when I ordered Aschermittwoch, a beige and gray climber. This one is a climber, but the color's wrong, and it might be a climbing moss rose. It climbs like a monkey and has wicked thorns.

Unfortunately it's not the one you ordered, but it's still extremely beautiful! I love it!

The buds are unusual and interesting. Could they help in the identification?

I'm pretty sure any moss rose has those buds. They're what made me think it's a moss.
