I don't always see it, unless I'm on the driveway. That's where I grow most of the Salvias I get, since there's a lot more space to put the containers. I'm sure the Hummers love the flowers.

How much shade are all of you using with success for this plant?

Mine gets afternoon shade (sometimes late afternoon) and seems to be always happy every year I grow it.
