I haven't planted any of my birdhouse planters yet - they were just made this winter - but I'm planning on using only sphagnum moss as a planting medium.

I pinned a bunch of Lynn's copywritted pictures to my Pinterest board, but with Lynn's permission. There are probably others who have pinned them from here too though. But I agree, it doesn't seem to matter if pictures have a copywrite or not, people don't get permission, just pin them. And really, it would be impossible to track every one of them down. I guess that's one of the bad things about the internet - you can't control who gets and does what with it once it's posted somewhere.

I thought the purpose of Pinterest was to pin and repin images. If I see something someone else pins, I often pin it to my board as well so I can find it again.

I love Pinterest too and have somewhat of a " pin-book" of semps which i love to browse through. I asked about repinning from here b/c the iris cubit specifically asked for people to not repost photos from ATP. But outside people have access to our pics and Lynn's right, it may attract new people to the site.

I love Pinterest. I have found so many great ideas with the iPad app. I use it all the time! It's addictive. I have a Sempervivum board, container idea board, Perennial board, and a garden path board. I also have a garden art board. I love trying to find new ideas to pin to my boards. What a fun way of sharing!

How about if we post links to our Pinterest boards here. I tried to find you, Katie, and about 60 Katie Johns results came up.

This is me: http://pinterest.com/goldfinch...

Anybody try Pinterest's new version yet? I did. I like the bigger pictures.

Love the Pinterest but I don't do it. Chris and Jackie I couldn't open yours but Kate's did open.

I saw this idea on someone's page, they had semps and blue glass rocks in a container. Looked likes the semps were floating in water. I'm going to try and make one similar.
