Hi Chelle. How are you doing? I see you have tons of seeds started. I've winter sown a few flats this year, but not anything on the scale that you are doing. I am still such a novice with growing from seeds. I'm trying columbines, foxgloves, and violets.

I really love this turtle. It is a wonderful feeling to give or receive a perfect gift. Half the plants on the new garden list will be arriving in April and May as starter plugs from North Creek Nursery. I'm hoping I have success with these - will be a much cheaper way to get the quantities I'm looking for. No, I haven't named him yet - any suggestions LOL?

No suggestions right offhand, but he needs a special one 'cause you'll very likely talk to him every time you drive past.

I'm new at seed starting too. I guess that's one of the reasons I start so many. This way, I'm bound to end up with something.

The seeds you've started sound perfect for your place!

I've always wanted to try North Creek. I just haven't made the minimum order requirement ...yet. Bet you can't wait to get them!

We're good. Thanks! We just had our house electrical service updated today! Hurray! I no longer have to weigh the circuit load before I start a load of wash. Hilarious!

Hi Sharon. I am glad you like my turtle LOL. I had to google Toulouse Lautrec to find out who/what it was. Sorry to say, I have not had much education in the arts. Perfect - Henri it is... Now I will think of you too when I say hello to him. I can't wait to get outside to start on the planting. Still cold here though, so will probably be a few more weeks.

Cold here too and I had to go to Louisville this morning to meet my son and pick up my grandson. It's even colder there. Too cold for his Spring Break week, our original plans were to garden. Not happening.

I'm excited to see what you do with the rest of your Turtle Garden. It will be fun to watch it grow.

@Vic our beloved Sharon was here on this blog post's comments. It has been quite a while since I re-read this one, but I re-read it again in association with the updated turtle garden blog post I wrote this morning. I sure do miss her and I do often think of her when I am in this garden and looking at Henri Lovey dubby
