I don't live far from Tom Burseens place, about 30 miles. I will try to make it to his garden next week. I used to belong to the Fort Worth Iris Soc. years ago. I got tired of going to meetings and quit going. If I go I will take lots of pictures and hope for a cloudy day for good pictures.

I went to Toms place today. It was a very hot day and very windy. I was so dumbstruck with what he had that I didn't take many pictures. Sad I very much wanted some of his that I knew would grow good for me. Due to my age and not being able to stand for a long time I only stayed about an hour. He was busy and only wanted to POLLINATE!! But he hadn't seen me for about 15 years, I waved at him and he looked puzzled at first, then he smiled and said "Dorothy Parker". I smiled and ran and hugged him. I showed him my want list and he had two of them. He showed us where his intros were in the front yard, and pointed out some I might like. So I picked out five and left him a check in his kitchen ROFL. He was WAYYY out back in the field and I didn't want to go out there and grab him again.

Dot

Dewuc Whatic (Do you see what I see) I think this was last years intro, I ordered this one.

Tobacco Chew, ordered this one.

Trumped, ordered this one

Judges Special (LOVED this one), ordered it. The whole clump was awesome.

I just wasn't thinking and didn't take any garden shots waaaaaaaa!! But you can kinda see part of his front garden behind Judges Special. Click to make it larger.

And my namesake that he named for me back in 1995 was blooming in my garden today.
"Dorothy Parker" Burseen 1995

I also ordered Cranfill's Gap, it wasn't blooming today and I can't find a picture of it online that I can copy.
